About The Position

Requirements
- Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association, licensed Dietitian with the Ohio or Indiana Board of Dietetics, and maintenance of continuing education requirements for the registration and licensure.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nutritional assessments of individuals, including obtaining and evaluating individuals’ dietary histories, to plan nutritional programs.
- Collaborate with dietitian, cooks, and dining service staff to select and prepare appropriate menus
- Make recommendations to the dietary manager and administrator regarding documentation and clinical concerns.
- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding food preparation and food handling in the dietary department.
- Complete the nutritional section of the MDS assessment as required by law and by the facility.
