Immediate opening for a Diesel Truck and Trailer Technician $30.00 to $37.00 an hour - BASED ON EXPERIENCE - Monday – Friday What you will do on a typical shift: Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our drivers / customers Doing preventative maintenance repairs, like replacing or rotating tires and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs fleet equipment safely and correctly. Conducts repairs and rebuilds fleet equipment components correctly Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance Perform additional duties as assigned What you need at a minimum to succeed at LMF: Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks & trailers.
  • Diagnostic/troubleshooting, electrical and air conditioning skills are a must.
  • A complete set of tools for a heavy-duty truck technician is required.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Class A or B license is preferred but not required.
  • Basic welding experience preferred but not required.
  • Good decision-making ability and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our drivers / customers
  • Doing preventative maintenance repairs, like replacing or rotating tires and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs fleet equipment safely and correctly.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned
