About The Position

Diesel Technician/Mechanic – Fontana, CA $35.00 - $42.00 hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits within 30 Days Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Fontana, CA. Our role is designed to travel from Burbank to San Diego due to the high volume of Medium-Duty and Heavy-Duty clients. Including Dodge Rams, Toyota Forklifts, Crown, Freightliner, Semi-Trailers with Lift Gates, etc. You will drive to Fontana and work locally, should clients be copacetic, but if needed, you will take the mobile truck to our client locations across SoCal and be our hero. Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience performing diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license
Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical if required for the role

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy-duty fleet vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations
