About The Position

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Glen Burnie, MD. $5000.00 Sign on Bonus! You will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs engine overhauls unassisted Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software Compensation and Benefits: Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Requirements

• Have experience with internal engine parts
• Be able to complete a basic in frame
• Comprehend aftertreatment systems
• This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements.
• This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
• A current valid license is required for this role
• This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
• This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• 3 years driving experience
• This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
• Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
• A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
