About The Position

Further develop your maintenance skills as a Diesel Technician in Kirkville, NY. Handle annual inspections. Complete troubleshooting and component replacements.

Requirements

Technical degree in diesel technology or related field, or a minimum of one year of diesel technician experience.
Computer systems experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform PMs, annual inspections and repairs on tractors and trailers.
Complete express services like tire changes, brake adjustments and minor electrical repairs.
Communicate status updates to internal customers.

Starting wages are $23.80 - $29.70 per hour based on experience.
Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working 50%25 or greater of the daily shift time between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time, receive a $1.50 per hour differential for hours worked.
Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours, receive an additional $0.65 per hour differential for hours worked. (Weekend hours worked between 9pm Friday – 5am Monday).
