About The Position

Freightliner of Hartford of Torrington is looking for Diesel Technicians with a minimum of three years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks. You need to have a general understanding of heavy duty truck systems along with an understanding about diesel engines and after-treatment devices. We are a certified training location for Freightliner and offer on the job factory training. We offer a great working environment and we are always looking for suggestions on how to improve our business. We have a monthly incentive program for our techs that could put an additional $1,000 per month in your pocket. We offer flexibile hours and are only looking for first shift techs. We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance with a partially company funded HSA, 401k with a 10% match, long term disability insurance is available, Paid-Time-Off, Holiday Pay, and uniforms. Pay is based on experience and knowledge. Pay $30-$50 per hour. You need to have your own tools and be able to move trucks around in the parking lot along with pulling trucks into the repair bay. CDL is not a requirement, but it certainly is beneficial. We are looking for someone with a good attitude who wants to be apart of a winning team.

Requirements
