DATTCO currently has a full-time Diesel Technician opening at our Coach and Tour Fleet Maintenance location in Watertown, CT. DATTCO is a third generation, family-owned transportation company. Requirements

High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
5+ years training or experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
Drivers license and DOT medical card
Hold, or be eligible to, hold a CDL license
Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications
Adequate English verbal and written communication skills
Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks

Responsibilities

Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles
Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
Completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage
Makes road calls
Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor
