The Diesel Technician is a diesel mechanic with a strong background in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy equipment. You'll use your expertise in diesel engines and hydraulics to deliver top-tier service in a safe, efficient, and professional manner..

Requirements

  • Experience as a Diesel Technician in construction or agricultural equipment preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem-solve effectively
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable using computer-based diagnostic tools and service software
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. independently

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment
  • Utilize technical manuals, job orders, and your own expertise to resolve mechanical issues
  • Conduct safety inspections and follow proper repair procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Test drive equipment to verify repairs
  • Develop strong customer relationships through professional service
  • Attend ongoing technical training sessions
  • Document all service and warranty work accurately
