Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as an diesel technician or similar role.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues.
Repair, replace, and adjust vehicle components and systems.
Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
Conduct road tests to ensure repaired vehicles are functioning properly.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle problems and repairs needed.
Collaborate with the team to problem solve and ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in diesel technology and attend training programs as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
