What would you do as a Diesel Technician As a Diesel Technician at Rexco Equipment, Inc. in Des Moines, you'll be the superhero behind the scenes, diagnosing and repairing our impressive fleet of Link Belt excavators and cranes! Your day will be filled with excitement as you operate heavy equipment, moving seamlessly from one machine to the next. By carefully inspecting each machine before work begins, you'll detect deficiencies and communicate these insights to our Service Manager while capturing your detailed journey in the digital world. Timeliness and accuracy are your best friends as you tackle repairs, using advanced diagnostics to diagnose faults and ensure efficient fixes. You'll engage with customers, providing innovative solutions, upselling services, and even capturing before-and-after photos of your handiwork! Requirements

  • Proficiency in diagnostic software and equipment
  • Understanding Key Performance Indicator Metrics-like Technician Efficiency Rate, Recovery Rate, and Rework
  • Detail-oriented with a knack for accurately documenting repairs and upselling services
  • Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Grasp of operating manuals and schematics
  • Commitment to safety
  • Willingness to learn through manufacturer training
