About The Position

Shifts: 1st shift: Tuesday-Saturday / 6:00am-3:30pm 2nd shift: Monday-Friday / 3:15pm-12:45am Hourly Full-time Position: $30.00-$45.00 hourly (based on experience) Job Purpose: C Level – Duties, responsibilities, and qualifications Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts. Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion; completing winterization procedures. Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units. Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems. Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting. Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs. Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Contains costs by using warranty, evaluating service and parts options. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications. Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Regular Attendance & Punctuality Qualifications 1-year experience Must be able to maneuver 100lbs with tooling. Ability to lift/move 50lbs independently. Must have an active valid driver’s license. Able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations. Strong written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills Maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities while working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment. Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently. Adept in conflict resolution Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook B Level – Duties, responsibilities, and qualifications Electronic diagnostic ECM controlled components I.E., sensors, Alt, starter King pin replacement except international prostar 2013-2018 Minor fabrication cap abilities, steel, aluminum MIG welding Wet kit installation Hydraulic diagnostics and component replacement Tire fault diagnostics and component replacement Manifold, turbo removal and installation. All trailer diagnostics and repair Gain an understanding of driver operations and work completed within their daily functions. Qualifications ALL C-Level duties, responsibilities, and qualifications 2-years’ experience Must have an active valid driver’s license. A Level – Duties, responsibilities, and qualifications Blueprint comprehension skills. After treatment diagnosis​ Moderate MS Office experience Gain an understanding of driver operations and work completed within their daily functions. Work independently following company policies and procedures. Ability to perform duties at various maintenance locations. Qualifications ALL B & C Level duties, responsibilities, and qualifications 5 years plus years of experience Previous inventory & parts experience preferred. Must have an active valid driver’s license. High School diploma or GED equivalent workplace policies
