About The Position

Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician (Covington Location) The Role: Are you tired of being micromanaged? Looking for a shop where you can put your head down, turn wrenches, and just get the job done? The Service Company is looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our crew. You’ve got a couple of years under your belt. What You’ll Actually Be Doing: Independent Wrenching: You'll handle the diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced air systems (compressors, dryers, valves), HVAC systems, and steering components. Bolt-On Components: Swapping out manifolds, turbos, water pumps, fan drives, and air compressors. Inspections & Alignments: Knocking out Federal DOT inspections and performing accurate alignments using our shop equipment. Electrical Troubleshooting: Tracking down and fixing starting and charging issues (alternators, batteries, starters). Primary Systems: Handling brakes, wheel-end assemblies, drivelines, suspensions, and tire service with precision. What You Bring to the Shop: Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience working on heavy-duty trucks. Credentials: A valid driver's license and a High School diploma (or equivalent). A CDL is a plus! The Right Mindset: You are a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in your work, communicates clearly with the team, and manages your time well to hit deadlines.
