Requirements

  • Hands-on experience working on diesel engines or commercial trucks
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School Diploma and/or GED
  • Valid Drivers License with a good driving record (CDL preferred)
  • 4+ years of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
  • Performing preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Completing repairs ranging from minor fixes to major overhauls
  • Disassembling and reassembling components accurately and efficiently
  • Documenting work with clear, detailed service notes
  • Using basic computer systems for work orders and diagnostics
  • Performing other duties as assigned
