Join the award-winning Fleet Management Division of the City of Charlotte as a Senior Diesel Technician and become part of a team that keeps one of the region’s most advanced municipal fleets running strong. You’ll work alongside a dedicated group of ASE-certified Medium/Heavy Truck technicians, supporting essential services for both the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. In this senior-level role, you’ll take the lead on diagnosing and repairing a wide range of equipment, including heavy trucks, sanitation vehicles, and construction equipment. You’ll apply your expertise to complex systems such as electronically controlled diesel engines, advanced electrical and braking systems, hydraulics, and specialty municipal equipment.
