About The Position

Vermeer All Roads Dealership in Annapolis Junction, MD is searching for an Experienced Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic to join our growing team. You will be using your mechanical abilities working in the shop performing diagnostics and repairs on Vermeer equipment and components. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and hydrostatic systems
• Welding experience preferred
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel locally for field service calls as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Vermeer All Roads does not provide H1-B sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions (hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems)
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed
• Recommend and document appropriate repairs, including cost estimates
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records
• Communicate with the factory for technical support
• Handle additional duties as assigned
