About The Position

Bobcat of North Texas - Weatherford is looking to add a Diesel Mechanic. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and executing effective solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-year fleet or dealership experience is required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
• Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.?

Nice To Haves

• Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
• Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment
• Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
• Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
• Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
• Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.
