About The Position

As a Diesel Technician / Mechanic at NFI, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues. You will utilize standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows Performance. Additionally, you will perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors and trailers and conduct DOT inspections per FMSCA guidelines.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license.
• Technical or advanced degree or 3-5 years or more years of equivalent maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows.
• Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors and trailers.
