About The Position

The Penske Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory and administrative processes to enhance maintenance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability at the branch level. This role involves oversight of inventory productivity, process analytics, and collaboration with various teams to ensure timely service support and effective operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate with team members.
  • Competent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years of customer service and operations experience required.
  • 2 years of experience in service and parts department preferred.
  • Agile learner who enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a logistics or transportation environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory productivity at the branch for timely service support and mitigate inventory loss.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts and ensuring defect-free, on-time deliveries from suppliers.
  • Receive and store parts in an organized manner, update PartsNet, and conduct frequent inventory cycle counts.
  • Manage new & used battery inventory and ensure proper tire quantities and specifications are maintained.
  • Ensure warranty items are shipped and received on time, and follow up on returns and warranty-grams with the warranty department.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available.
  • Support vendor accountability and ensure correct processing of payments.
  • Perform process analyses in areas such as inventory, maintenance profitability, and warranty campaigns, and recommend solutions to improve profitability.
  • Utilize systems like ServiceNet or AS400 for problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Provide guidance and information to support branch financial performance and profitability.
