An opportunity for a Service Technician currently exists in our Springfield, Missouri Western Star dealership. The focus of this position will be to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with company and manufacturer standards. Detroit, Cummins, and/or ASE Heavy Duty certifications preferred with a minimum of three years truck dealership experience required. We are looking for a technician who will be a dependable, responsible team player with the right skill set and a positive attitude. People who are passionate about providing the highest level of customer service will surround you every day. The ideal candidate will have:
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years truck dealership experience
- Dependable
- Responsible team player
- Positive attitude
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Own necessary basic tools
Nice To Haves
- Detroit, Cummins, and/or ASE Heavy Duty certifications preferred
- Cummins, Detroit Diesel and/or Heavy-Duty certification strongly preferred
- Freightliner experience helpful but not required
- Flat rate/commission experience preferred
- CDL preferred
