About The Position

Mustang Cat is actively hiring skilled Industrial Power Technicians for both shop and field service roles. If you’re an experienced Engine Rebuild Mechanic or a motivated Senior Diesel Engine Mechanic, this opportunity puts you at the forefront of servicing diesel and natural gas power systems used across critical infrastructure throughout Texas. As a Diesel & Natural Gas Industrial Engine Technician, you’ll perform comprehensive maintenance and repair on industrial engine systems. Requirements

• Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous mechanic or military experience working on engine systems
• In-depth knowledge of engine, hydraulic, and electronic components
• Strong technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform engine disassembly, reassembly, and precision reconditioning
• Conduct diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and technical analysis
• Remove and install industrial engines and generator sets
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct failure analysis and testing to ensure peak performance
• Work independently or as part of a team in both shop and field environments
