About The Position

We are seeking a Diesel / Motor Coach Technician with strong mechanical skills and a passion for keeping vehicles in peak condition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of our fleet of motor coaches, ensuring they meet safety, regulatory, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, motor coaches, and related components. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Maintain detailed records of repairs and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. Use diagnostic equipment to test vehicle systems and components. Replace, repair, or adjust components such as brakes, tires, suspension, and electrical systems. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure a consistent flow of work. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel technician, motor coach mechanic, or related role.
Proficiency with diesel engine diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance.
Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic software and mechanical tools.
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or the ability to obtain one preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move heavy objects and equipment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or the ability to obtain one preferred.
