About The Position

We're hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic to work on a variety of specialized vacuum trucks, jetters, and heavy-duty service vehicles. If you have a deep understanding of diesel diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems—and want autonomy while working with a high-performance team—this position is for you.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience required; prior fleet maintenance experience is strongly preferred
  • Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with engines, DEF systems, and aftertreatment; must supply own tools
  • Must be proficient in hydraulic and electrical repair
  • Valid Driver’s License required; CDL Class B or willingness to obtain within 6 months preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with vacuum trucks, hydro-excavators, or municipal fleet equipment a strong plus
  • Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic components with minimal supervision
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections
  • Keep meticulous digital records of work performed and parts used
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the shop and yard
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior mechanics as needed
  • Communicate proactively with fleet management and operations staff
