About The Position

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Physical Requirements Standing, Walking, Bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, push, pulling, stooping, squatting and reaching are required in all areas. Lifting 40+ pounds are required in all areas Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance, Working Conditions: Must be able to work in all-weather/ climate, conditions from very cold to very hot. Must be able to work in a dusty environment. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have at least 6 months vehicle mechanic experience documented on application or resume.
• Must be able to work in all-weather/ climate, conditions from very cold to very hot.
• Must be able to work in a dusty environment.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
