The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various components of tractors, trailers, and refrigeration equipment, including brake systems, engines, electrical components, steering systems, transmissions, drive trains, and tires. This role also involves performing preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, battery inspections, light testing, and equipment lubrication. The mechanic is expected to establish and maintain positive working relationships, receive and follow instructions, and maintain regular and predictable attendance.
