Diesel Mechanic
About The Position
Tri-County International Trucks/Idealease is a family-owned business seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to diagnose, repair and maintain light, medium and heavy-duty trucks and busses. At least one year hands on experience as a diesel technician - preferably dealership or fleet experience Michigan State Certifications in Heavy Duty Truck. Trainee Permit accepted. ASE, Navistar, or Cummins Certifications are a plus Knowledge in the repair & maintenance of diesel engines, power trains, and electrical systems Diagnostic skills/experience & attention to detail Good verbal, written & computer skills Good character & work ethic Able to follow manufacturer’s policies and procedures for labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs On the job factory training and certifications available Internal promotional/growth opportunities based on experience and aptitude Possess your own tools Chauffeur’s License required (CDL a plus) Qualified applicant must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
