About The Position
Academy Busâ is seeking a full-timeâ Diesel Mechanicâ for ourâ Charlotte, NC location. $2500 Sign On Bonus! AM & PM shifts available. Earn $21.00-$26.00 per hour. Pay rate based on candidate experience level. Responsibilities: Diesel Mechanic – Class C / Level 3 Repair, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of modern tour buses Reconditioning, preventative and routine maintenance General lubrication functions such as: Oil/filters, air filters, chassis lubrication, transmission fluids/filters, differential fluids, axel/wheels. Inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components under supervision such as: Brake components, suspension components, tires, and seats. Warranty and repair documentation Assist A and B Level Mechanics with skilled work Requirements: 1-4 years of hands on experience, diesel engine maintenance preferred Minimum personal tool value $2000 Proven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks and testing instruments Valid driver's license Basic computer skills Health Insurance and Benefits Offered Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription and Life insurance Supplemental coverages 401K plan Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Academy is an EEO.
Requirements
- 1-4 years of hands on experience, diesel engine maintenance preferred
- Minimum personal tool value $2000
- Proven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks and testing instruments
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
