Transdev in Thornton, CO is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. The shift schedule is Monday - Thursday, 1:00pm - 11:30pm.

Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including brakes, suspensions, engines, drivetrains, transmissions, and other repairs.
Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.

Valid driver’s license required.
At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
Possess a mechanic’s tool set
Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

ASE certifications preferred. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!)

Competitive compensation package of minimum $30.00 – Maximum $50.00
An additional $.10 per hour for each ASE certification you possess or obtain
Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
Sick days: 5 days
Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
