About The Position
You’ll keep our fleet of garbage trucks running strong by: Handling repairs, inspections, and safety checks Diagnosing and fixing electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and air systems Using vehicle computer systems to troubleshoot and adjust engine controls Reviewing and completing driver inspection reports Logging work in fleet maintenance software Test-driving trucks after service Pitching in with teammates and keeping the shop clean Interacting professionally with drivers Taking on other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of diesel or heavy truck maintenance experience
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair techniques
- Basic tool set (we help with a monthly allowance)
Nice To Haves
- Hydraulic experience
- ASE certification
- Class A or B CDL
Responsibilities
