About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Justin, Texas . The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience , preferably working on diesel-powered refuse (trash) trucks or similar heavy-duty equipment. Position Overview: This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty refuse trucks and related equipment. The technician will troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems to ensure all vehicles are safe, reliable, and compliant with DOT standards .

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Heavy Duty or Diesel Technician (refuse truck experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret diagnostic reports and repair manuals.
• Must have own basic tools; advanced tools and equipment provided.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• refuse truck experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
