The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for investigating problems with different types of motor vehicles, diesel and non-diesel and making repairs accordingly. Their duties include communicating with vehicle owners to discuss their concerns, carrying out routine maintenance procedures on motor vehicles and replacing parts on motor vehicles to promote their functionality. Preform same duties on other diesel engines on the site such as generators. Mechanics are required to perform a range of duties and responsibilities that can differ from day to day depending on the jobs that they are assigned.
