About The Position

The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment used on the solar jobsite. This includes generators, pumps, and other machinery that is essential for the operation of the site. Responsibilities

Performing regular maintenance on diesel-powered equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues with diesel engines and other equipment.
Repairing or replacing faulty parts and components.
Conducting routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
Collaborating with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Fueling of equipment and additional mechanical duties (changing tires etc.) will also be required.
Minimize downtime due to equipment failures.
