About The Position

Our company is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. This role will focus on diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues. Our ideal candidate should be comfortable working as a technician who can diagnose and repair technology issues in newer trucks. In addition to making repairs, you will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on diesel engines, brakes, transmission, and other systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
Valid driver's license
Experience with diesel engine repair
Mechanical skills
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills

Nice To Haves

Diesel technician or mechanic degree a plus

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines.
Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Communicate with Service Writers/Manager diagnosis and repair of customer vehicle.
Pass and maintain manufacture specific Diesel certifications.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
