About The Position

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of Industrial Maintenance experience
• Must supply own tools for minimum maintenance
• Must be able to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools
• Requires 1 year of Industrial Maintenance experience
• Minimum 1 year experience operating cutting torch and electric welder
• Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
• Must be able to read and understand assignments
• Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing
• This position requires a current valid State driver’s license
• Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned
• PM on equipment, oil changes, greasing, repairing or replacing semi tires
• Brake repair or replacement on semi - trucks and trailers
• Perform air brake, electrical and air conditioning work
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
