About The Position

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a B Level Diesel Mechanic who, under supervision, will repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles. The position involves performing preventive maintenance services, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles and equipment, and conducting safety checks on vehicles. The mechanic will also assist Lead Mechanics as needed and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance services
• Inspects, diagnoses and repairs vehicles and equipment
• Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment
• Performs service calls
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles
• Assists Lead Mechanics as needed
• Reviews and completes repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
• Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times
