About The Position

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a B Level Diesel Mechanic who, under supervision, will repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles. Diesel Mechanics of all experience levels are encouraged to apply!

Requirements

• Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance services
• Inspects, diagnoses and repairs vehicles and equipment
• Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment
• Performs service calls
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles
• Assists Lead Mechanics as needed
• Reviews and completes repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards
• Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times
