About The Position
Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics, Trailer Technicians, and Reefer Technicians to support our growing fleet service operation. This role offers top pay, a 3 or 4-day workweek, and long-term career stability in a professional shop environment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in diesel, trailer, or transport refrigeration repair
- DOT inspections & air brake experience required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Own basic tools/toolbox
- Ability to pass background check & drug screen
- Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, reefers, and APUs
- Complete brake repairs, suspension work, and DOT/FHWA inspections
- Diagnose electrical systems and ABS brakes
- Handle tire services (mounting, balancing, flat repairs)
- Complete structural trailer repairs, rear doors, and washouts
- Troubleshoot APUs and assist with road service calls
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused shop
- Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and other tools
- Additional duties as assigned
