Requirements

3–5+ years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty (Class 8) trucks and equipment
Strong diagnostic skills across drivetrain, engines, and transmissions
Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
Ability to perform structural assessments and oversee repair decisions
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards for fleet maintenance
Basic computer skills (maintenance software, Microsoft Office, etc.)
CDL Class B preferred (or ability to obtain)
Ability to earn 7 ASE Certifications (or equivalent) within 36 months
Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel, gasoline, and alternative fuel systems (CNG, LPG, Hybrid)
Perform advanced work on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Service and maintain fleet vehicles including Mack, Peterbilt, Freightliner, Autocar, and equipment from Heil and McNeilus
Use onboard computer systems to troubleshoot and identify repair needs
Perform safety inspections and ensure DOT/OSHA compliance
Complete work orders and documentation accurately and on time
Support and mentor other technicians to ensure safe, efficient operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Participate in company-sponsored training programs as assigned
Stay current on evolving tools, equipment, and technology relevant to the role
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
