About The Position

We are seeking a skilled diesel mechanic with 2 to 4 years of experience in heavy-duty truck, construction, or equipment rental backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have intermediate experience with major and minor repairs of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment. This position offers growth opportunities and requires a safety-oriented individual who can maintain industry and company safety standards while performing equipment repairs.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a related field.
• Intermediate experience with major and minor repairs of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines.
• Experience with Tier 4 and Tier 4 final engines, SCR, EGR, and DPF aftertreatment systems preferred.
• Must have necessary tools for performing repairs.

• Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and test equipment to ensure performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform major and minor repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosing of equipment repairs.
• Utilize necessary tools for repairs, averaging $5,000+ in value.
• Understand schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
