About The Position

This position is responsible for performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers. The role requires adherence to Tyson's safety culture, policies, and procedures, and involves various tasks including receiving training and performing assigned duties in a safe work environment.

Requirements

• 1 year of previous experience in industrial maintenance
• Must provide own tools
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean driving record
• Ability to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet
• Ability to bend, stretch, reach
• Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
• Ability to read and understand assignments
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive training as required
• Perform various positions as required/assigned
• Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
• May perform air brake, electrical and air conditioning work
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
