About The Position

Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B at our Martin Brower facility in East Point, GA. The position focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed. The Fleet Technician will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance, inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition, and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration. The role involves using hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. The technician will also examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 2 plus years of related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).
