As a Co-Op student at Pike Industries, you'll have the unique opportunity to explore multiple career paths within the construction industry. This hands-on program is designed for Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Vocational-Technical (VoTech) students, offering a customized curriculum that rotates through different areas of our business. Whether you're interested in Quality Control, Aggregates, Asphalt Plants, Equipment Maintenance, or Construction, this program will give you real-world experience and a deeper understanding of the industry. You can expect: A structured, rotational learning experience across multiple divisions. Exposure to industry-leading processes in quality control, aggregates, plant operations, equipment maintenance, and construction. Mentorship and training from experienced professionals. Hands-on learning opportunities in a fast-paced work environment. Travel to various Pike Industries locations across New England.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) or Vocational-Technical (VoTech) program.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to work in a hands-on, outdoor environment.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through different business units, gaining hands-on experience in each area.
  • Learn how to test materials and ensure quality standards in the Quality Control division.
  • Work with Aggregates teams to understand production and site operations.
  • Assist at Asphalt Plants with production, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Gain experience with Equipment Maintenance, learning about diagnostics and repairs.
  • Shadow Construction crews to learn about roadwork, paving, and site development.
  • Support ongoing projects while developing practical skills in each business unit.
