About The Position

Seeking a Diesel Mechanic B to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment: Shift: Full-Time l 3rd Shift l 10:00PM-6:30AM Monday-Friday Pay: $30.30 + 0.20 shift differential = $30.50/HR CDL Incentive Pay-($1.00 additionally with active CDL A license) Perks and Benefits: ASE certification incentive pay Paid Time off and holiday pay Career advancement opportunities after 6 months of employment Health, dental, and vision coverage Reyes Rewards and referral bonuses Union Benefits The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1 to 2 plus years of related experience
  • Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
  • Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
