Location: 923 Johnston Parkway, Kenly NC 27542 Shift: Full-time — 5 days a week, weekends required! Requirements Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty diesel engines, drive trains, braking systems, electrical systems, air conditioning, hydraulics, etc. Perform scheduled maintenance inspections on trucks/trailers/fleet vehicles. Use diagnostic equipment, interpret fault codes, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend preventive solutions. Maintain clean, safe, efficient workspace. Keep tooling and parts organized. Mentor less-experienced techs and assist in training. Document work performed, parts used, hours logged, and keep high quality/first-time-fix standards. Meet productivity and quality goals while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of heavy-duty diesel technician experience, preferably in trucks/trailers/fleet service.
  • Strong diagnosis skills and ability to read schematics and service manuals.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations, fleet service requirements a plus.
  • Own tools (or willingness to acquire). Tool/boot allowances provided.
  • ASE certifications or equivalent heavy-duty credentials preferred.
  • Good communicator, reliable, team-oriented, committed to high quality work.
