Our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment is essential to our operations, and we’re looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team and keep our equipment running smoothly. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of ready-mix trucks and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engines and hydraulics, along with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a state inspection license . This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – Strongly Preferred
State Inspection License – Preferred (or ability to obtain)
3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a construction or concrete industry setting
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Nice To Haves

State Inspection License – Preferred (or ability to obtain)
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – Strongly Preferred

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on diesel trucks and heavy equipment
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire replacements
Conduct state inspections and ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance
Assist with road calls and breakdowns as needed
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order
Follow company safety protocols and procedures
