About The Position

Responsible for maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles through routine service, inspections, and diagnostics to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of auto/truck maintenance experience
  • Valid Texas CDL (Class A or B with airbrakes & endorsements)
  • ASE certifications (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
  • Knowledge of diesel engines and bus systems
  • Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening and required training

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation, fluid checks)
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using diagnostic tools
  • Inspect and replace components (belts, hoses, lights, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
  • Operate shop equipment (forklifts, hoists) as needed
  • Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
