Diesel Engine Technology Instructor 2026-2027 (DMTC)
About The Position
The CTE Diesel Engine Technology Instructor provides standards-aligned classroom and hands-on instruction for grades 9-12 in diesel engine systems, diagnostics, maintenance, and shop safety preparing students for industry-recognized credentials and career readiness in accordance with South Carolina Department of Education requirements. The instructor maintains a safe, industry-standard lab environment, assesses and supports student learning, integrates academic and technical skills, and collaborates with industry partners, families, and school leadership to support work-based learning and student success.
Requirements
- Candidates must be eligible for or hold South Carolina CTE Work-Based Certification in Diesel Technology
- Must possess relevant industry experience
- Must meet all South Carolina Department of Education certification and background requirements.
