About The Position

Freightliner of Hartford is seeking out Engine Overhaul and Heavy Engine Repair Technicians to fill openings at our designated Engine Center. Freightliner of Hartford is a family owned and operated company where our employees come first. Responsibilities include the following: -Disassembly, Inspection, and Rebuilding of Diesel Engines -Electronic and Mechanical Engine Diagnostics using Detroit, Cummins, CAT, and Navistar Software -Test, Measure, Adjust, and Analyze all Engine Components -Perform Failure Analysis to determine cause of failure following manufacture specific guidelines -Communicate written and verbally between service writers, parts personnel, and direct manager -Practice Safe and Clean working environment Freightliner of Hartford offers Competitive Salary of $30-$40+ per hour depending on experience, plus a monthly bonus. Requirements

• 3 years work experience as a diesel technician
