About The Position

The Die Setter/Press Operator is responsible for the set-up and maintenance of precision perforation dies to support the 2nd shift perforation team at Beverlin Manufacturing. This role involves preparing die sets for upcoming jobs, as well as tearing down and cleaning dies after production runs. The position requires a focus on safety and teamwork, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and mechanical aptitude.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Basic toolroom skills - Grinder, Drill Press, Mill, Lathe, Measurement tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs infrequently.
• Willingness to complete tasks required that may not be listed in expectations.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that work is being performed safely.
• Assist in setting-up jobs to run productions.
• Report press related issues.
• Prepare presses and work sites for set up using standard work.
• Prepare, install, set up, and remove dies according to set up instructions and documented standard work.
• Pre-stage jobs for the next set-up.
