About The Position

The Die Setter position at Flex-N-Gate Battle Creek, LLC involves setting up and changing over line and progressive dies. The role requires operating overhead cranes and forklifts, performing coil changes, and ensuring that the press is ready at the start of the day and shut down at the end of the shift. The Die Setter will also assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving to meet quality specifications.

Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively during the shift.
• Ability to work independently and stay on task.
• Flexibility with work requirements.
• Previous stamping experience preferred.
• Experience changing metal dies or injection molds preferred.
• Ability to obtain a permit to operate overhead crane and forklift.
• Previous experience operating overhead crane and forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities
