About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Die Cutter Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Thomson and similar flatbed die cutting presses. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with die cutting operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience with the flatbed die cutting process.
• Ability to work with tight registration tolerances.
• Experience in press maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to maintain detailed equipment maintenance logs.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in other production areas.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Make ready and operate Thomson Die Cutting presses.
• Set up and operate similar flatbed die cutting presses.
• Adjust machine settings based on the thickness and type of substrate/material.
• Log production information accurately into the computer system.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Maintain inventory of necessary support supplies.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Perform additional duties as required to support the department.
